Who We Are
The South Carolina Retirement System ("RSIC") is responsible for investing and managing all assets of the South Carolina Retirement Systems ("Systems"). RSIC is a seven-member commission made up of financial experts, including the State Treasurer, the director of the Public Employee Benefit Authority, and a retired member of the Systems.
The South Carolina Retirement System Investment Commission will fulfill its fiduciary responsibility by prudently managing all assets held in trust for the sole benefit of the participants and beneficiaries of the South Carolina Retirement Systems. It will seek superior long-term investment results at a reasonable level of risk.
